Kitties and Big dogs need love too !!!!!! 

Gonzo will be a year old February, 2017 and is from the country of Oman (located in the southeastern coast of the Arabian peninsula)  where they are affectionately known as Wadi dogs. These dogs can have a mix of Saluki, Indian Pariah and Canaan dogs in them.  This is a country whose solution to the thousands of homeless dogs is to shoot them and usually not humanely.  He was rescued by a wonderful group called Omani Paws and they can be found on facebook.  They are pretty much the only rescue in the whole country.  Gonzo is social, sweet and loving with everyone he meets which is a trademark of these dogs.  This boy will need a firm owner as he still has a lot of puppy in him.  Right now, we don't recommend him for children as he does not have children manners, not because he is a mean boy. With a bit of time and training, we believe he will make a great, active companion.  He gets along well with dogs in a home and is very playful with them.  He is a very active boy that will need an active family.  He loves to run and play so a fenced yard would work best for him.   Gonzo is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
