Highlighted Dogs
See all the Dogs!
  Louie
Louie was born 7-18-22 and has been at the rescue since July, 2023 waiting patiently on his forever family.  This boy has a submissive personality and does great with other dogs. His dad passed away and there was no one that wanted to take him in so, he came to us. He loves kisses and cuddles and his fur is soft like velvet. We love to hug him. He walks well on a leash now and loves to play with the other dogs here. He should do well with most any active family that has room for him to...read more about Louie
  Silas
Silas was born here on 5-7-24 and is another baby that hasn't had a visit or a chance at a "furever" family up to this point. This guy is very lovable and totally enjoys playing fetch and only weighs in at around 35 pounds so, he will not be a large boy. He is great with other dogs but does have high play energy and another dog in the home would need to match. However, he is submissive with other dogs if it comes to that. Silas is a puppy and will need all the training that comes a...read more about Silas
  Cora
Cora was born October 26, 2022 and what a beauty. She does well with all adults here and has been around children with no problems. She is energetic and playful which is typical of this working breed once she gets to know you. Cora has the typical shyness of strangers that comes with the breed and may not come running to you when you visit but we have had no nippy issues with her. She loves the guys that clean the kennels and loves to snuggle with them. She would do best with room to run. S...read more about Cora

Many people are appalled that so many animals are euthanized daily at Animal Control. Meanwhile, they do nothing to support the rescues that save these pets. We are the ones saving them, and we get no Federal Funding, and the competition for grants makes them almost impossible to get. Daily, we receive upwards of 30 calls and emails with pets needing rescue.  We have over a 100 pets in our care at any given time, and we cannot continue to save the lives we do without donations.  We have been saving lives and impacting the lives of homeless pets in our community for 15 years now and have adopted over 6500 pets to great homes. These are pets that would not have had a happy ending without us.  We cannot continue to do this without your support.  For those of you who have helped and continue your unwavering support of our work over the years, words cannot express how grateful and appreciative we are for this support.  It is only with your support that we have been able to continue our mission and save thousands of lives.

We are also in desperate need of volunteers for the following: help cleaning, organizing some areas, yard work, walking pets, brushing dogs and cats, office work, fundraising, grooming, handing out brochures and some excel work. Call 803-628-5084 or email Richardosnrescue@gmail.com for more information.

Our current urgent needs list includes:

Medications, donations for spay/neuter,cleaners, bleach, papertowels and newspapers. We can provide a receipt for your taxes.
