Dakota is about 2 years old as of July, 2016. This is a sweet, loving and gentle boy that loves everyone he meets. He gets along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. We were told by his previous owner that he was crate trained. He has also been around children with no problems. He is a short fellow with loads of personality. He was a gift to someone who did not like dogs nor wanted one so, he came to us. He did have heartworms when he arrived, and we have since treated him. He will need a few weeks of quiet (leash walking with no strenuous exercise) in his new home and then he will be able to do anything a normal doggy does. All he needs now is the usual once a month heartworm prevention. This boy would be a wonderful addition to any home with his great heart and temperament. Dakota is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.richardsonrescue.org.
