Kitties and Big dogs need love too !!!!!! 

Max is about 4 years old as of November, 2020. He comes from the country of Oman. This boy is great with other dogs here at the rescue, big and small. When he is corrected by another dog, he backs away but is still ready to play if they are ready. This boy walks on a leash and is house and crate trained. He also knows basic commands and has been around cats with no issues either. He is a bit slow to warm up to new people but always seems willing to give it a try. He is playful and affectionate with everyone here at the rescue. We come in the morning to zoomies when we take him outside now and such playfulness. We don't know that he has ever been around children, but older, polite ones would probably be fine that know how to give him space until he truly trusts his new family. He is an active guy that needs room to run. If allowed to get bored, he will dig the occasional hole in the yard. He would be great for an active person. Max is also protective of his people and lets you know if a stranger is around. After a couple of visits though, he learns they are not strangers.  We will prefer dog experience with this guy.  Max is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
