We believe Amelia is around 1 year old and weighs around 30 pounds. This girl was abandoned on the road, very pregnant, and wandered in to a nice gentleman's yard who brought her to us after her puppies were of age. She was a great mom and has the most loving temperament and just loves to see us in the morning. Amelia has blossomed so much since being with us and loves to be picked up and cuddled. She will be quite upon first meeting but we understand why considering where she came from but what a precious, attentive girl she is when she knows you love her. She gets along great with other dogs too and we have not seen her around cats. She does not like to be in a crate. We think she would do best with a family that is home more than not as she enjoys the company of her people. Great companion here! Amelia is heartworm negative and will be current on all medical (spay, shots, deworm, heartworm and flea prevention). If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.RichardsonRescue.org. You will need an approved application to visit or adopt. All visits are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
