If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Toby is a little over 5 years old as of May, 2020 and weighs 12 1/2 pounds. This guy came to us shy and frightened of everything. We have been showing him all the love and affection we can over the last month and what a sweet little guy that has blossomed. He loves to be held and loved by us now and gets so excited to see us in the morning. Although he will probably be shy again when he meets a new person but now we know that won't last long and he will be an awesome companion with a little patience. We have never had any nippy issues with him here at the rescue. He is crate trained and will need some more work with house training. He gets along fine with the other dogs here but does get a bit frightened by the bigger dogs. He should do fine with dogs of comparable size especially females. He has never been around children and we will look for an adult only home for him. He is not a fan of cats. Toby is heartworm negative, neutered and current on shots,heartworm and flea prevention.
