If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Rex is 4 years old as of May, 2020. This boy came to us because his owner passed away and there was no one to care for him. We have found him to be a good boy that loves to be with his person. He is friendly with everyone here but has latched on to one of the Staff like she is his mom. He is fine with other dogs but doesn't like them all over him and tries to find somewhere to hide from them. So, he would be best as an only dog or with a dog who also doesn't like to cuddle up. He is crate and house trained and walks on a leash and LOVES squeaky toys. He has never been around children and we are looking for a home with adults only for him with German Shepherd experience. Rex did test positive for heartworms and is currently on the slow kill method for heartworms. He has never been around cats and we can't give you an opinion on that one. Rex is neutered, current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
