If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Whitey is around 4 years old as of May, 2020 and what a sweetheart! This is just one big loving, cuddly, goofy boy. He has an excellent temperament with everyone he meets. We don't know if he has been around children but older ones should be fine. He is crate trained and appears to be house trained and loves to carry toys around. He does walk on a leash and knows how to sit on command. He had a terrible case of fleas when he came to us which gave him some skin issues. He is starting to look so much better now and should be ready for his new home by June 6, 2020 as he will still need to be neutered. Whitey did test positive for heartworms and we are currently using the slow kill method. Please google the slow kill method to get a better understanding. He is a happy, healthy guy in every other way. He should do well with most any type of active family with room for him to run. Whitey will be current on all medical (neuter, shots, microchip, deworm, heartworm and flea prevention).
