If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Goldie is around 8 years old as of June, 2020 and came to us because her owner passed away and there was no one that wanted to care for her. This girl has a very quiet temperament and is content to just lounge around on the beds here at the rescue. She is very affectionate when she wants attention but for the most part enjoys her own company. However, in a home we believe she will blossom and be an affectionate companion. She is crate and house trained, walks on a leash, likes long walks and car rides. She has no issues with the other dogs here big or small unless they just continually try to be all over her then she will warn them to back off. We don't know if she has ever been around children or cats. We would recommend an adult only home for her where she has a quiet environment to adjust to her new home. Goldie is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
