If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our adoption application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. De Grit is around 7 years old as of June, 2020 and weighs around 40 pounds or so. This girl came to us because her owner passed away and there was no one to care for her. She was shy with us at first but is warming up nicely. She is great inside, crate and house trained but she does like her outside time. De Grit tends to be a quiet girl but will alert you to something new. She is not a real cuddly kind of girl with us but in a home, we think she will continue to blossom into a great companion with some time and patience as we have had no nippy issues with this girl. We do not know if she has ever been around children or cats. She would do best with a male dog her size or larger that is laid back and not on her all the time. She is not a fan of some of the smaller dogs. She would fit best with a an adult home with a fenced yard for her to get her outside time and run in. She walks best on a harness and loves a good walk and car ride. De Grit is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
