If you are interested in visiting and adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Tessa is around 4 years old as of June, 2020. This girl has an awesome temperament with everyone she meets and is so loving. She loves attention and to just be around people. She also gets along great with other dogs big and small here at the rescue. She has been around children with no issues. She has never been around a cat and we have no way to test her here at the rescue. She is crate (although she never needed to be crated in her former home) and house trained very well and walks well on a leash. Tessa had surgery to remove a growth from her left eye and it is healing very well. Tessa does have a fear of thunder and loud noises. They make her a little jumpy which only makes her want to be around her people more. She actually seems to be getting a bit better with that here at the rescue. This girl would make a wonderful companion for most any type of family. Tessa is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
