If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Gideon is a little over a year old as of July, 2020 and weighs 80 pounds. This boy has a quiet, gentle temperament. He is great with other dogs big and small here at the rescue and has no people issues at all. He is very well behaved and content to sit quietly and watch the comings and goings at the rescue. We are not sure about house training, but it shouldn't be hard with this smart, obedient guy. He came to us from a shelter and we have no history for this boy. He did test positive for heartworms and is currently on the slow kill method for heartworms. Please research and talk to your Vet for a better understanding of this treatment. This guy should do well with most any type of active family. His temperament is just awesome! Gideon is neutered, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
