Sadie is a Toy Aussie and will be 4 years old July 24, 2021 and only weighs 4 1/2 pounds. This little gal loves to be held and to be with her person. She is a quiet girl that will alert to strangers. She has been older children with no issues and walks on a leash. She is crate trained and uses pee pads here at the rescue. Sadie is also fine with other dogs but just tends to ignore them for the most part here. This little girl just loves to be in your lap and will stay there as long as you let her. She is very affectionate and loving. She does have what is known as a patellar luxation in one of her rear legs which is causing her no problems at this time and she is not on any medications. She runs and plays with the other dogs with no issues. It is just something you will need to keep an eye on. She should do well with most any type of family. Sadie is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit your application at RichardsonRescue.org. Sadie does not qualify for the Seniors for Seniors program. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
