If you are interested in adopting from us, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. We believe Rhett is around 2 years old as of June, 2021 and weighs 15 pounds. He will be ready for his new home after his neuter surgery. This boy was a bit shy about coming to us when he first but we never had any nippy issues with him. He is warming up nicely to us now but will probably be shy again when meeting new people. He is quiet guy that is great with other dogs here at the rescue. He is crate trained which will make teaching him his new house training routine much easier. We can pick him up and do anything in the world to him and he is never mean to us at all. So, we think with a little time in his new home, he will make a great companion. We don't know if he has been around children but, from what we observed, maybe older children or adults would be best for him. His personality is still emerging here with us. Rhett is heartworm negative and will be current on all medical (neuter, shots, deworm, microchip, heartworm and flea prevention).
