If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. Ivy does qualify for the Seniors for Seniors Program. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Ivy is around 6 years old as of July, 2021 and what a gentle, sweet girl. She gets along great with other dogs big and small. She loves to cuddle and rolls over to have her belly rubbed. She walks well on a leash and is crate and house trained. She is active enough for a good walk but loves to lounge around inside where it is cool. At this age, she is well behaved and would make a great addition to most any type of family. We don't know if she has been around children, but don't see anything in her temperament that would lead us to believe she wouldn't be. We have never observed her around cats so, we have no way of knowing how she is with cats. Ivy is heartworm negative, spayed and current on shots, microchip, deworm, heartworm and flea prevention.
