If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. Winkie does not qualify for the Senior for Seniors Program. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. 

We estimate Winkie date of birth to be around 6-2-21 and she currently weighs 7 1/2 pounds. She and her brother Finn were abandoned by the side of the road and wandered into a nice lady's yard who then brought them to us. Winkie had an eye injury that required her eye to be surgically removed. It is healing nicely and there will be no more treatment required. This girl is playful and loving with everyone she meets and she loves other dogs. At this age, she should do well with other dogs, cats and children. She is a puppy and will need all the training required for a new puppy including house training. She will be an active girl when grown and will need an active family. We will not adopt her to apartment life. Winkie will be current on all medical for her age (shots, deworm, microchip, heartworm and flea prevention).
