If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. Filo does Not qualify for our Senior for Seniors Program. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Filo is around 2 years old as of October, 2021 and weighs 11.5 pounds. This little guy is a social butterfly here at the rescue and seems to love everyone he meets. He has been around children with no issues and is great with other dogs. He has also been around cats with no issues. He is the perfect size lap dog and he does love cuddles. He is house trained and was never kept in a crate before he came to the rescue as he was great in the house. We have kept him in a crate here at night and he has no problems with it. He also loves to sleep in his own bed at night and listens well. He should do well with most any type of family. Filo did test positive for heartworms and we have started the first phase of slow kill treatment here at the rescue. He is an active, playful and happy little guy. Filo will be current on all medical (neuter, shots, deworm, microchip, heartworm and flea prevention.
