Bacon does NOT qualify for our Senior for Seniors Program. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Bacon was born August 1, 2020 and weighs around 35 pounds or so. This boy has a great temperament with every person he meets and also gets along great with other dogs big and small. He was a hunting dog so, he wasn't sure about us when he got here. Now, he is starting to come to us with his little tail wagging and is just warming up nicely. We can see the wonderful companion he will become. He has lived outside his whole life but is doing well with crate training here at the rescue. It shouldn't take too much to have him house trained. This boy also walks on a leash. He is an active boy that will sometimes get vocal but no a lot. Mostly when he wants attention. lol. He should do well with most any active family. We will not adopt to apartment life and will prefer a home with a fenced yard because Beagles need to explore. Bacon is heartworm negative and will be current on all medical (neuter, shots, deworm, microchip, heartworm and flea prevention).
