Rascal does Not qualify for our Senior for Seniors Program. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. For questions, please email screscuepets@gmail.com. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY. We believe Rascal is around 10 months old as of December, 2021 and weighs around 38 pounds or so. This boy has an awesome temperament and loves everyone he meets. He is not so good with other dogs as he will aggravate them with his energy. He needs some training in that area as we don't believe he ever interacted with them and developed proper social skills. However, he does love, love people and you can do anything in the world to him with no issues. Rascal is crate and house trained. He also walks on a leash and just loves to be around his people. We don't know if he has ever been around children but we think he would be fine with older children. He is a herding dog and may herd the younger ones. lol. We also do not know how he would interact with cats but would say no to cats at this time. This boy is so very smart and picks up very quickly on new things. He sits very well and follows you like a shadow. This is an active breed that will need an active family to meet his exercise needs. We will not adopt to apartment life or a rental and will prefer fenced yards over not. Come meet this happy, happy boy and you will be in love. Rascal is heartworm negative and will be current on all medical (neuter, shots, deworm, microchip, heartworm and flea prevention).
