Meet Shortcake! This 2.5 year old Aussie girl was 1 of our 13 that came from a breeder. She soon gave birth to 8 gorgeous pups ( who have all been adopted, S pups) She is a sweet girl. she has just been a breeder all of her life and is learning what being a dog is. She is not mean at all, she talks to you, and is very treat motivated. She was a very protective Mommy, and now she sees that she does not have to do that any more. She is very dog friendly, as she hangs out with the other dogs in the play area. She is not a cuddling dog as of yet, but we have been giving her belly rubs and butt scratches to let her learn that it is ok to trust humans. This girl is a loner and would be okay just hanging out with you around the yard or farm until it is time to go inside. She does do well in a crate, is house trained, and we are working on leash training, she needs a fenced in yard so that she can go out without a leash. We just never know what a dog has been through until they get to us , but we do know that with the right person, she would be a great dog. She has been spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed.
