Kitties and Big dogs need love too !!!!!! 

We believe Harper is around 3 to 4 years old as of December, 2024. She was dumped at a business dumpster at 3 am and was still standing there when workers arrived at their workplace. We had her examined at the Vet and she is blind. However, she doesn't require any medications  for her eyes and she gets around the rescue like a champ. This girl has the best temperament and loves to be right with us. Cuddles are her favorite and she gets along great with other dogs here at the rescue after she is introduced to them. She is crate and house trained and does great loose in the house after she learns her new routine. We make a noise for her and she can find her way right back into the rescue after being let outside to potty and now goes straight to where she needs to go. You would never know this girl is sight impaired as she gets around just like the other babies and has no fear. Harper has no nippy issues with people even with her condition and I can reach right in her food bowl and pull food out. And smart, oh my goodness, so smart. Know her name from a mile away too but is apt to bump into your leg upon finding you lol. Then, it's climb in your lap.  She also loves toys and balls. Harper was also around a 3 year old child in her foster home before she came to us. So, she should do well with any type of family. We just love her! She is spayed, current on shots, flea and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org.
