Buddy and Blackie are a bonded pair of 3 year old Poodles. They were used for breeding and we all know how much attention breeding dogs get. Not much. So, they are both shy about coming to people but love other dogs. Over the last month, Blackie is warming up pretty well but Buddy still does not trust. Although they are shy, we don't have nippy issues with them so, in a patient, quiet adult home, we think things will continue to turn around and they will make nice companions. We have leash trained both boys while they have stayed with us and they are almost completely crate trained. We believe we have taken them as far as we can in a rescue situation and they need a true home to fully blossom. They had both lived outside lives before coming to the rescue. Both are neutered, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Applications can be found on Richardsonrescue.org. All visits require an appointment. That is also the most current site to see if a pet is available.
