Lil Man will be 3 1/2 years old as of September, 2014. He has been with us for well over a year now.  He is very social and loving with people. He walks great on a leash and sits and stays on command.  We had a volunteer trainer work with him for a year so, that is where his nice leash manners come from.  We cannot say enough how polite and respectful he is of people and their space. Here at the rescue, when everyone else is barking, he is sitting back and taking it all in. We believe he would thrive best in a home where he is the only dog as he is very protective of his food and treats with other dogs, he is fine with humans and his food.  He does okay with other dogs if you are walking him.  He will bond strongly with his owner and would love to find a jogger or hiker as he is active when you want to be. This handsome guy is neutered, has heartworm tested negative and is current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
