Maddie P is about 2 years old as of 09-13. She was rescued from a high kill shelter by a nice lady who brought her to us. She was extremely shy when she first came, but never nippy. She stays in the office with us so that we can work with her daily. Maddie has shown herself to have a humble and gentle personality. She gets along great with the other dogs here and cats are no problem as they are bigger than her, and she knows it. We think in a home environment her personality will really bloom. We recommend a home without small children, not because she is mean, but because she needs a quiet home at first. She is spayed, has tested heartworm negative and is current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting, please submit your application at richardsonrescue.org.
