We believe Janis is about 3 years old as of November, 2013. She and a male Dachshund we call Jimi, were found abandoned by the side of the road. They came to us very skinny, but still very sweet. They are doing well and gaining weight fast. Janis is crate trained and gets along well with other dogs. She also ignores the cats here. She has an even tempered personality and has gave us no signs of nippy issues. She also doesn't appear to be a loud girl and would do well with apartment life. She is spayed, has been heartworm tested negative and is current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.richardsonrescue.org.
