Rain is a Lab/Catahoula mix born around March 26, 2014. This girl is playful, loving and comes running when you go into her kennel. This loving girl would do well with other dogs and cats. She loves a good lap around her baby pool after we put tennis balls in. This will be an active dog so she needs an active family. She would make a great pet for any type of family. Rain will be current on medical for her age. Catahoulas are highly intelligent and energetic. They are assertive but not aggressive by nature. They have a need to take charge of their pack whether other dogs or humans. Catahoulas in general are very even tempered. When a Catahoula is raised with children, the dog believes that it is his or her responsibility to look after and protect those children. Many owners will say that the Catahoula owns them and they can be insistent when it's time to eat or do other activities. Catahoulas are protective and a natural alarm dog.
