Daisy is a Dachshund mix born November 3, 2011. She came to us because her family could no longer afford to care for her. We have found this girl to be quiet (she is calmly sitting behind me now watching me write this), affectionate and loving. She gets along great with other dogs, walks on a leash and loves to ride. She is crate and house trained and gets along well with other small dogs and cats. She just has the greatest temperament ever. Daisy does occasionally have seizures which are controlled very well by the pills she receives twice a day. The medication is not expensive. It runs about $10 or less a month to treat her. This girl has such a loving heart that she does not deserves to be euthanized for a very treatable condition. She would do well with any type of family. She is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.richardsonrescue.org.
