August is about 1 year old as of February, 2015. This girl has a sweet and loving personality with people of all sizes. She walks well on a leash and is house trained. She also gets along well with other dogs. She can be a little shy of new situations, but her temperament allows her to get over that pretty quickly. August may be better at first with a home with older children so that the environment will be a little more quiet. She is an active girl and will need an active family. August is spayed, heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Belgian Malinois exhibit energy levels that are among the highest of all dog breeds. A typical Malinois will have puppy-like energy until the age of 3, though it is not uncommon for them to exhibit this energy level until the age of five. They can be destructive or develop neurotic behaviors if not provided enough stimulation and exercise.
