We believe Tommy is about 6 months old as of October, 2014 and weighs about 28 pounds right now (he will not be a real large dog). We rescued this boy from a kill shelter. Tommy is playful, active and loving with everyone he has met here at the rescue. He gets along with other dogs but can be bossy with food. However, we have found that if another dog is the boss, Tommy will back down and there are not any problems. So, a dog his size or larger would be best. He walks pretty well on a leash, and we are not sure about house training. However, at his age, they are usually very easily crate and house trained. We don't believe he would have a problem with children, but his play energy may be too much for a small child until he has some training under his belt. We can do anything in the world to this guy with no nippy issues. He is a pretty boy that would make a wonderful hiking, walking or jogging partner. This boy would do well with any type of active family. Tommy is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
