We believe Howie is about 2 years old as of May, 2015 and weighs about 18 pounds.. He gets along great with the other dogs here at the rescue and has a friendly, social temperament with people and he does prefer adults to children. He loves to snuggle on the couch or be in your lap. He is crate and house trained. He walks on a leash and likes a nice, warm bath. He will fetch toys or tennis balls and loves to burrow under blankets. He absolutely loves his people. This boy does like to bark at strangers but sometimes forgets not to bark too long. So, he needs a home with adults that can work with him on the barking. When it is just his mom or dad at home, he is quiet, loving and playful. He is a great watch dog as nothing gets by him. A home without too much traffic may be best at first. However, this boy is just so lovable, we think he is worth the little extra effort. Howie is neutered, is heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.richardsonrescue.org.
