We believe Zach is about 2 years old as of January, 2015 and weighs about 47 pounds. We rescued him from a kill shelter on his last day. This boy has shown us nothing but the typical, sweet Boxer personality. He gets along well with other dogs and walks on a leash well. We are not sure about house training, but older dogs are usually very easy to house train. This is an active boy in search of an active family. You will need a fenced yard to adopt as he is an active boy and doesn't really like a crate. Zach is neutered, is heartworm negative and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Boxers are a bright, energetic and playful breed and tend to be very good with children. They are patient and spirited with children but also protective, making them a popular choice for families.They are active, strong dogs and require adequate exercise to prevent boredom-associated behaviors such as chewing, digging, or licking.
