We believe Bert is about 4 years old as of March, 2015 and weighs about 18 pounds. He came with a little gal we call Butter. They were both found babies and an owner could not be located. This boy has a gentle and loving temperament but is still a bit shy about just running up to you. However, when it comes to smaller children, he is completely trusting and comes right to them. He loves to be outside where his personality really shines so a fenced yard would be wonderful for him. With time and patience, we believe he will make a great companion. Bert just needs time to learn to trust humans again. He would not come to us at all when he first came but now we can do anything in the world to him with no problems. He has never tried to be nippy with us even at his most shy. He is neutered, has tested heartworm negative and is current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
