Update: Vixen (formerly known as Carmella:) visited the vet (Palmetto) yesterday for her 2nd set of shots and she's a whopping 6 lbs already:) She's doing great with her house training (using a bell hanging from doorknob that she wacks the heck out of to go out!) We adopted her 2 days before Christmas, and she'll be 10 weeks old on Friday. 

Adopted this adorable pup (was named Carmella) we renamed Vixen, just before Christmas. She is now 8 weeks old and already put on almost a pound since we brought her home about a week ago! She is just plain adorable and loves playing with her big 'sister' Phanta who is a 7 year old Border Collie/Pyrenees mix which we also adopted when she was 8 weeks old  :)  Richardson Rescue is an awesome group of people!

I made this collage to post on my page, but figured i'd share here, too! The picture in the top left is from the day I met Clementine (formerly named Clue) at Richardson Rescue, and I knew from the moment she jumped up into my lap and didn't want to leave it that she was the dog for me. When she first came home she wasn't potty trained, knew no words/commands (including her former name), and was very scared of everyone except for me. Now she knows to potty outside, understands her name as well as many other commands, and is much more comfortable in the home environment. This old girl is my best friend, and I couldn't be more grateful to the rescue for helping us find each other. Merry Christmas
