Rita

We really LOVE our new puppy Penny Lane (formerly Rita). She is princess of the house after less than a week!!

Ridge

I adopted a little pit bull mix puppy from you on June 17th named Ridge and I remember you guys saying you love to get updates on the animals that get rescued so I wanted to send you a little update on this boy!

Ridge is now known as Joey in our family and he has such a good home here! He has an older sister Lucy (a lab rescue) a kitty to play with (Maggie) and a doggie door to run outside and play anytime he wants! His favorite spot to be though is snuggled on the pillows of my bed where he sleeps comfortably every night! He is officially all potty trained now, and he has lost his puppy teeth and has adult ones growing in now!

Rambo

Rambo is doing well. Took him to the vet today and he weighs 17.2 lbs and is in very good health. He is adjusting very well and is very spoiled. He has already stolen our hearts and those at the vets office also. I will continue to send you updates.

Roxanne

Here is an update on Miss Roxy... she has become my best friend. Glued to my side, no need for a leash. She gets so excited when I first wake up in the morning. Thank you Richardson Rescue for such a wonderful girl. Couldn't imagine a dog any sweeter than my Roxy

Roxanne

Just wanted to share how our first day went! Roxy is so incredibly sweet. We did not get back to Matthews until 6:30 last night but she handled it like a champ. We even took her in tractor supply to buy her a harness because the collar was in fact too big. She did very well! When we finally got home, she was very patient with me on the stairs (I'm on crutches). She would go up a few and then wait on me to catch up, and then go up a few more. Same thing when I took her out for a "walk" later that night. She seemed to enjoy herself and was very patient with me. This morning when I woke up I told her good morning and she actually got a little excited. Melted my heart. Thank you for allowing me to adopt such a sweetheart! I will keep you updated on our progress
