Henley So happy you helped us find a new addition to our family. Thanks so much for being so great to work with. Odin (formally Henly) is doing well!
Delilah It's this girl's GOTCHA DAY! 2 years ago today my fur daughter came to live with us. She is the best tennis ball chaser/catcher, run partner, hiking partner, little sister to her human brother and big sister to her fur brother and all around amazing dog on the planet! She rescued me two years ago and for that I'm forever grateful. Happy Gotcha Day Li! Mumma loves you!
Sonya
Sorry haven't written lately but was just thinking of y'all this morning and wanted to share....
My son said this past weekend "Sonje is no longer a replacement for Levi, she's just Sonje now and I love her"
This meant a lot coming from him. I feel the same way. We love her so much. I swear she must have been bred to be a princess haha! She's so smart and loving. I'm so happy she's in our lives.
Louise I wanted to check in and let you guys know how she is doing. She has adjusted very well. It took a few days but I think she is calling this place home. She is alert and barks when a car pulls up or someone knocks on the door. She now explores the entire backyard without a care.
She and the cat get along very well. Right from the start, she let the cat know she would not be bullied and so now they play chase in the house and that cat actually initiates the chase. This is even better than I hoped for. They sleep in the same bed together.
She had her first vet appointment at the end of July and we started heartworm and flea prevention on the first of August. We picked up a few of the "slow-feeding" food bowls to keep her from eating so fast and those have really helped.
I've attached some recent photos.
She really is an angel and we are very grateful she has joined our little family.
Sincerely,
Melanie
Mindy Lou The fur baby with the lighter fact is Mina use to be "Mindy Lou" before we adopted her from Richardson Rescue Jan 2015. She is a little spoiled and a whole lot sassy. Her sister here is Bella we rescued her from York County Animal Control. We just love our fur babies.. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
